The Drive for Autism IX is scheduled for Monday Sept 20, 2010 at Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough, New Jersey. The event consists of a morning round of golf followed by a barbeque. Our Lady of Peace CYO Basketball Program making all the right moves
The Our Lady of Peace CYO basketball program in New Providence , NJ which consists of ten boys and girls teams from 4th through 8th grade hosted its first program wide community service project. Players from all teams participated in a foul shooting Shoot-a-Thon on 2/21/2010. The program’s directors Mike Romeo and Dave Maluso were pleased to announce that the children’s efforts raised over $3700 for the Drive for Autism Foundation.
Drive For Autism Foundation VIII
On Sept 21, 2009 Drive for Autism VIII took place at Royce Brook Golf course. It was another bright sunny day and 197 golfers enjoyed a great day of golf and companionship. Participants make contributions through a silent auction of memorabilia, sporting event tickets and golf equipment, a 50/50 raffle as well as a beat the pro and hole in one contest on the two courses. Even though our numbers were down for the first time the Drive was able to raise $49,000; a tremendous success considering the state of our economy.
Drive For Autism Foundation Night with the Staten Island Yankees
On Aug 13, 2009 Drive for Autism night at the SI Yankees took place with 209 individuals supporting our cause. The SI Yankee pitching staff took a no-hitter into the last inning but the Foundation hit a home run by raising over $1800.

The Drive for Autism Foundation is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first family bowling night at Country Lanes on Staten Island. Ray and Naz Laursen approached us with the idea for a family bowling night. Having done it with another charity with success, the Laursen's, whom have been great supporters of the Drive for Autism Foundation wanted to help us raise additional funds. They knew us as individuals and as an organization and liked that we helped the local community. Mark your calendars for Saturday June 7, 2008. It should be a fun night full of strikes and spares.
